Dariush Arfaania, MD, FACP, FASN, attended Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in Shiraz, Zand, Iran, and received his medical degree in 1973. Then, he served his internship at Philadelphia General Hospital (1975-1976). Furthermore, he conducted his residency at in internal medicine at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (1976-1977). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in nephrology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Arfaania is certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
